Need advice on custody schedule conflict

My ex is refusing to stick to our agreed schedule because she wants to take our daughter to her new boyfriend's family vacation next month. It's my planned week. I offered to move our week but she wants me to move it without getting a makeup week. Our custody agreement clearly states alternating weeks but she keeps saying 'be reasonable' when I bring up the schedule. This is the third time in two months. Should I just give in to keep the peace or am I right to push back?

This is where co-parenting gets messy. You need to document what the agreement says and then calmly explain that the schedule is the schedule. If she wants to change it, that's a conversation for both of you to have formally, not by just doing her own thing.

I hate saying this but you might need to get lawyers involved if she's consistently violating the custody order. I know that sounds heavy but protecting your time with your daughter is important and sometimes that's the only language some exes understand.

What does the custody paperwork actually say about flexibility and modifications? Because if she's making unilateral decisions about where your daughter is, that's a problem you need to address now before it becomes a bigger pattern.
