New girlfriend situation with the kids

I've been seeing someone for about 6 months and I think I want the kids to meet her soon. Problem is my ex will probably flip out. My lawyer said I can do what I want on my time, but I don't want drama. How do people usually handle introducing new partners? Should I tell my ex first or just do it on my custody time?

This is tricky man. Have you thought about doing some group activities first instead of a formal introduction? Like meeting her casually at the park or something? That way it's not this big deal moment.

Six months is solid. Just make sure you're doing it for the right reasons and not because she's pushing for it. Kids can sense that stuff. What does your custody situation look like?

The 6 month mark is a good checkpoint. I'd say focus on what the kids need first, not what you want. How do they do with change in general? My biggest thing was making sure my oldest felt secure before bringing anyone new into the picture.
