Been using OurFamilyWizard for 6 months and honestly it's clunky. The calendar is confusing and my ex still doesn't log in half the time. Considering switching to Coparently because I've heard better things but don't want to start over if it's not worth it. Has anyone actually gotten their ex to consistently use one of these? What made the difference?
Real talk: the app is only as good as your co-parenting relationship. If she's not responding or being difficult the fanciest app in the world won't help. That said, Coparently's messaging is more straightforward.
OFW has been around longer so it's more established but yeah it feels clunky. What specifically about the calendar is confusing you? Might be easier to just adjust how you're using it.
Coparently is way cleaner UI wise but honestly both are kinda overengineered for what you actually need. If your ex is reasonable you could just do group texts and Google Sheets. The calendar in OFW is definitely the worst part though.
Try the free trial of Coparently first. I think they let you test it for like 2 weeks. No point switching if it's gonna be the same frustration with different buttons.
Honestly just go with Coparently. Their customer service is actually responsive too, which matters when something breaks on transition day.

We switched to Coparently after 8 months of OFW and haven't looked back. The expense tracking actually works and doesn't make me want to throw my phone. Calendar syncs to my regular calendar too which is huge.
