Honestly I'd have a conversation with your ex first if you guys are on good terms. Just give her a heads up so it doesn't come from the kids during a handoff.
Five months is still pretty early but if it's going somewhere then yeah eventually they need to meet. I'd say wait until like month 8 or 9 to be safe though. You want to make sure this is actually solid first.
The 10yo will probably be more perceptive about the whole thing. Just be honest with both of them that you're dating someone new and she's important to you. Keep it simple and low pressure for the first meeting.

Do the first introduction somewhere casual like a park or a coffee shop. Not at your house where it feels formal. Let them see her as just a regular person, not The Girlfriend.
Make sure your girlfriend knows not to try too hard to be the cool adult. Kids can smell that from a mile away. Just be yourself and let the relationship develop naturally.
