Been seeing this woman for 3 months, nothing serious yet, but my ex somehow found out and now she's "concerned about the environment my kids are in." My kids have barely even met her?? Like once for 20 minutes at a coffee shop.
I know I don't need her permission but ngl it's making me anxious about every decision now. Anyone else deal with this?
3 months in and you're still figuring things out is completely normal. Don't introduce your girlfriend to your kid until you're sure this is going somewhere real.
What exactly is she doing that's making you paranoid? Is she threatening custody or just making comments?
Your ex's opinion on your love life shouldn't matter anymore. I know that's easier said than done but holding onto that stress helps no one.
How did she find out? Because if your kid mentioned it you might need to have a conversation about privacy with them. Nothing wrong with dating but kids don't need every detail either.

The paranoia from the ex is annoying but try not to let it derail things. You don't owe her updates on your dating life. Keep things focused on the kids and grey rock everything else.
