texting and email

My wife, were separated and she only wants to communicate through text or email if possible. She wants to see me as little as possible and including for Teacher meetings and refuses to go to counseling sessions I have set up for us to help us with our son. She wants to depend on the school counselor.

Does anyone else find it incredibly hard to communicate through text and email only?
