Took my 10yo to a therapist - best decision I made
Just wanted to share: my son was having a really hard time with the split (happened 18 months ago) and I noticed he was keeping track of everything I said about his mom - like he was worried he had to pick a side. Started him with a kid therapist who specializes in co-parenting stuff and wow, it's helped SO much. He has someone neutral to talk to that isn't either parent. Not saying everyone needs this but if your kid seems stressed about the situation, might be worth exploring. Our mediator actually recommended someone and she's been great.
how much are you paying per session? asking because we've been quoted like $200/session here and my ex won't split it. also did you have to get her permission or did you just... do it? worried about the custody agreement stuff
