UPDATE: Got the kids for Thanksgiving!

Remember my post from 2 weeks ago about fighting for Thanksgiving? We went to mediation and my ex agreed to switch it up. So for the first time in 3 years I get the kids Wed-Sun for the holiday. Already planning to make my grandma's stuffing recipe - the kids barely remember it since they usually spend the day at their mom's. My 11yo daughter actually seemed excited when I told her, which... man, that hit different. Feeling really grateful right now.
