Dude my 12 year old told me my 80s playlist was too loud yesterday. TOO LOUD. I'm the one paying for the Spotify family plan here. When did this become their house?
The one thing that gets me is when they request a song and it's literally something I introduced them to and they act like they discovered it.
The Spotify algorithm knows what's up but kids have zero patience for anything longer than a TikTok clip. Can't compete with that attention span.

My 11yo said my music was 'cringe' and I think I need therapy now. Pretty sure that's grounds for emancipation or something.

Haha dude this is me but reversed. My 14yo actually respects my taste now and we jam out together. The 9yo still thinks anything I play is ancient though.
