Wife walked in on him with potting soil all over his face and asked 'What are you doing?!' I said 'Looks like he's trying to get down to the root of the problem.' She did not laugh. Worth it.

Potting soil tastes better than the playground dirt, apparently. My kids have eaten their weight in mud on the trails, so this checks out.

Ha, that's gold. My three are always finding creative ways to explore the world, and somehow dirt is always on the menu. At least you know he's curious about growing things, right?
