Haha yes, that groan-then-repeat combo means you've officially leveled up. My 7yo does the same thing with the chess trash talk now, so I get it.
That's the dream right there. My 8yo from my other household pulled out a similar fish joke last week and I knew immediately where it came from. The eye-roll followed by repeating it to everyone is basically the dad joke hall of fame.
