Dad jokes have ruined me

I literally cannot watch a movie or TV show with my family anymore without making some awful pun or joke at the worst time. Just watched Nemo with my kids and when Dory came on I said 'looks like they're going on a REEL adventure' and my wife left the room. Worth it though.

Once you cross over into full dad joke territory there's no coming back. But honestly, your family probably secretly loves it even though they act annoyed.

I feel this in my soul. Last movie night I made a pun about the plot and my wife actually put her hand up to stop me mid-sentence. The damage is done at this point.

Welcome to the club, man. My three kids literally preemptively groan now when I open my mouth during family time. It's become a reflex for them.
