My 8 year old asked why I always make puns and I said 'because I'm on a roll' while eating bread. She groaned so hard but then couldn't stop giggling. Also told them 'I'm reading a book about anti gravity, it's impossible to put down.' They're getting too old for this stuff but they still laugh and that's what matters.
