Convinced my kids that the shopping cart beeping when we leave is actually a spy detector that makes sure we paid. They now walk so carefully through those doors. Best parenting hack I've found yet and it cost me nothing.

Okay this is genuinely brilliant. The spy detector angle is way better than most of the stuff I come up with. Did they actually believe it or were they already suspicious?
