Went to the store with my 6 year old and she asked if we could get some juice. I said sure, we could really use something to get us through the day. She looked at me confused and I said don't worry, that joke will age like fine wine. She said dad you're being weird again. Nailed it.

Getting a laugh out of them at the store is like hitting the dad joke lottery. Makes the whole trip worthwhile, groceries or not.

This is gold. I do the same stuff at the store and my 6 year old just shakes her head at me. But she laughs, which is all that matters.

Nailed it. Nothing beats making a quick joke while you're trying to actually get out of there with everything on the list. That's peak dad energy right there.
