Caught my toddler mid-fall from the couch today with one hand while holding my coffee in the other. Didn't spill a drop. I felt like a superhero for like 3 seconds then he immediately tried to climb right back up. The struggle never ends.

Those moments are wild, right? The adrenaline, the muscle memory kick in. I caught my three year old mid-tumble off the kitchen counter last month and I didn't even spill my water. That's incredible! One handed catch while keeping the coffee safe is definitely superhero level. I install car seats at the fire station and see a lot of parents, but dad reflexes never get old.
