Dad uniform is real

I looked in the mirror today and realized I'm wearing khaki shorts, a polo shirt, New Balance sneakers, and white socks pulled up. I look exactly like my own dad did. The transformation is complete. When did this happen? I'm only 38. Send help and also some cargo shorts because apparently I need more pockets now.

The khaki shorts are a universal constant. I'm not saying New Balance specifically chose to sponsor dads but the evidence is pretty compelling. At least we're comfortable.

I own this look completely at this point. Khaki shorts, polo, New Balance, and I'll throw in a light windbreaker. It's comfortable and functional. Who cares if it screams 'dad' from a mile away?

Guilty. All of it guilty. My wife made fun of me last week for wearing this exact combo to the grocery store. I genuinely didn't realize I was doing it.

Dude this is so real. I looked down yesterday and realized I'm literally wearing almost this exact outfit. When did we become our dads? And why am I okay with it?
