Mine won't stop doing the David Attenborough voice for EVERYTHING. 'And here we observe father in his natural habitat, attempting to make breakfast without burning it.' It's hilarious but also I can never have privacy again
Mine does the same thing but with a Australian accent for some reason. We never even watched that much Attenborough content but somehow it activated in his brain. It's hilarious every single time.
The narrator voice kids is such a thing right now. I think every school has at least one. My daughter does it when she's trying to narrate her own drawings and it kills me every time.
Have you considered just leaning into it and doing nature documentary narration together? Make it a game instead of trying to get him to stop. Way more fun for everyone.
Honestly the nature doc voice phase is one of the most wholesome weird things kids do. So much better than the other phases they go through. Let him have this one.
My son did this for like 6 months straight and I thought it would never end. One day it just stopped. They grow out of their bits but man those memories stick with you.

This is peak child development actually. They're learning language and narrative structure by mimicking what they hear. Your kid's gonna be super articulate in a few years because of this.
