Been dropping dad jokes on my kids for years and now they're beating me at it. My 6 year old told me 'I'm reading a book about anti gravity, it's impossible to put down!' I didn't even know she understood that joke format. She's out here making ME groan. Proud but also my ego is hurt.

This is the way. My 8yo has moved past my jokes and now she's creating her own. I'm both proud and terrified of what's coming next.
