I told my kids that I'm reading a book about anti-gravity and I can't put it down. My 5yo actually believed me and spent 20 minutes trying to read upside down. My 12yo just rolled her eyes which honestly might be worse.

The anti-gravity book joke is legendary. The fact that your 5yo actually got it and laughed means you're doing something right as a dad. That's the dream reaction right there.
That's awesome he laughed at it. Most dad jokes just get eye rolls from my kids but the smart ones land sometimes.
