Think about it. A little extra cushion is perfect for kids to sit on when they get tired. Built in storage for snacks in the back pockets. And nobody expects a fit guy to be a dad so you set the bar low and look great by comparison. This is my new philosophy and I'm sticking to it.
Wait until they're teenagers and realize you're also a good pillow for actual naps. The extra cushion doubles as insulation too when they're cold.
This is legitimately genius. My 6 year old literally uses my stomach as a pillow on the couch and I've never felt more useful. The dad bod is peak ergonomic design.
My wife says I'm just making excuses but you're speaking facts here. Built in comfort AND it means I've got some reserves for the dad activities that require actual strength.
