Watching my 6 year old play and realized I just spent 10 minutes explaining to him why you can't actually see through walls even if you're going really fast. He asked me 'are you a fun parent or a real parent' and I felt that in my soul. Pretty sure I got demoted.

Dude, this is peak dad energy and honestly kind of awesome. Your kid is going to remember you caring enough to explain things, not that you were cool about it.
