Not actually leaving obviously but she was like 'if you say one more pun I'm taking the kids and going to your mothers house.' So naturally I said 'why would you do that, I'm on a ROLL' and made a bread pun. We both laughed but she also threw a pillow at me. Worth it.

You gotta ease up a little man. Space them out so they hit harder when they land. Right now you're just flooding the market with dad jokes.

47 in one week is legitimately impressive though. That's like almost seven a day. I'm only hitting maybe 10 per week and I thought I was doing okay.

Your wife sounds like she's got a good sense of humor about it. The fact that she's threatening to leave over puns means they're actually landing which is the real win.

The fact that she's not actually leaving says everything. Keep the jokes coming but maybe drop it to like 30 a week as a compromise.
