I've officially become my father

Caught myself telling my kids 'money doesn't grow on trees' yesterday and then making a dad groan when one of them said 'I know dad, it grows in my piggy bank.' I literally sounded like my own father. The worst part is I know I'll keep saying it too. I'm doomed to repeat the cycle. Also asked them 'are you trying to cool off the whole neighborhood' when they left the fridge door open. I am my father.
