Is it normal for a 4 year old to ask this many questions?

My son has asked me 47 times today why the sky is blue. FORTY SEVEN. I gave him different answers each time because I'm losing it. One time I said it was because of sad clouds and he just nodded and moved on. Am I doing this right or am I creating a monster?

Different answers each time is hilarious. I respect the commitment to staying sane while dealing with that. Some dads would just ignore the question.
At that age they're basically testing you to see how long you'll engage. Sometimes just saying 'that's a great question' and redirecting works better than actually answering for the 50th time.
