Told my kids we're having a surprise for dinner and my oldest goes what is it and I said if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise. He thinks for a second and goes then how do you know what to make. Got me. Absolutely got me. I have no comeback.

That's gold! Kids have a way of making you realize you set yourself up, but honestly those are some of my favorite moments between me and my kids.

Haha that's classic, you totally walked into that one. My oldest does the same thing where the logic is so simple and direct that it catches me every time.
