I made my classic 'I'm not a regular dad, I'm a cool dad' joke while driving them to soccer practice and they just stared at me in silence. My oldest actually said 'Please stop.' The golden years of dad joke appreciation have ended. I'm officially uncool.

Haha, I think that's just part of the deal once they hit a certain age. My three groan at all my jokes now but I'm not stopping anytime soon. At least you're still trying to make them laugh, that's what matters.

The silence is brutal but honestly it means you're doing your job as a dad. Those corny jokes are a rite of passage they have to endure. Keep em coming.
