I've been using the same jokes for years and they still laugh. One of them finally asked me yesterday if I make up my own material. I almost cried. Yes son, I do. I'm basically a professional comedian now.

They probably laugh more at your delivery than the actual joke. My kids do that. I could tell them that a chicken crossed the road and they'd lose it if I did the right voice. The jokes are just an excuse for you to be goofy with them.
Wait until they get older and realize your jokes are terrible but they still laugh because they know you're trying. Then it becomes a different kind of funny and you've actually won the long game.
