They asked if it was good and I said I can't put it down. Daughter said 'Dad that makes no sense' and walked away. She's 8. They're learning to despise my humor and honestly I'm proud.

That's a classic setup and your daughter's response was gold. My kids are finally old enough to appreciate dad jokes without completely shutting me down. Cherish these moments.

Haha nice. I tried that one last week and got complete silence followed by a groan. But I'll keep mining the dad joke catalog, they crack eventually.

Love it. My 6-month-old doesn't get jokes yet but I'm prepping the material for when she does. Your daughter might not admit it but that joke was actually pretty good.
