Made a joke at dinner and my daughter said 'Dad that's not even a real joke.' Ouch. So I asked her what makes it not real. She said 'Because nobody laughed.' Can't argue with that logic. Guess I need to workshop my material. At least she was honest.

My daughter does the same thing to me. I've learned to just lean into the dad jokes harder when they bomb - that's the real comedy. She'll appreciate it when she's older, trust me.
