Kid runs into the door frame at full speed and starts crying. I ask him what happened and he goes 'The door got in my way!' Sir, the door was not moving. You were. Anyway told him he's got to pick a better opponent next time and he laughed so hard he forgot he was hurt. Parenting hack unlocked.

The mental gymnastics kids do to avoid admitting fault is incredible. My 4 year old would've done the exact same thing, probably with the same confused look when I pointed out the door's been there the whole time.
