I told him he couldn't have candy before dinner and he said 'Dad you're not the boss of me, Mom is the boss of you.' Kid's not wrong and I've never felt more defeated in my life. Respect the hustle though.

Ha, that's brutal man. At least he's got the hierarchy figured out early. My 7yo tried the same thing on me last week and I had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing.
