My 4yo told me the best joke today

He said 'Why did the cookie go to the doctor?' and I said 'I don't know why' and he goes 'Because it felt crumbly!' Then he absolutely lost it laughing at his own joke for like 5 minutes straight. Not gonna lie, I'm stealing this one for work tomorrow. Kids are basically tiny comedians.

Cookie jokes are the best kind of jokes when they come from a 4yo. Pretty sure my son tells me variations of that same joke like three times a week and it somehow stays funny.

That's hilarious. The way kids deliver jokes with zero comedy timing but full confidence is what makes it work. Did you at least give him credit for the setup or did he think you fell for it?

The delivery is always better than the joke itself with kids that age. The fact that he set it up with the 'why' question means he's already understanding joke structure. That's actually pretty solid for a 4yo.
