My 6 year old just realized I'm not actually the funniest person alive

Was telling my usual dad jokes at dinner last night and my son just stared at me and said 'Dad these aren't even that funny.' His mom tried not to laugh. I said 'Well I think you're hilarious' and he said 'That's sad for you.' Kids are brutal man. Now I can't even tell my jokes without him preemptively groaning. Guess this is my life now.
