My 6 year old just told his first real dad joke and I've never been more proud

He goes 'Dad why did the cookie go to the doctor?' I say 'I dunno buddy why?' He says 'Because it felt crumbly!' Absolutely terrible joke but I've never laughed harder in my life. He got it from that joke app I downloaded and now he's been rattling them off all day. This is what parenthood is all about right here.

That's awesome man! The fact that he delivered the punchline with confidence makes it even better. My daughter tried telling jokes last week and just laughed before she could finish. You're officially in the dad joke hall of fame now.

Haha this is the moment it all begins. Pretty soon he'll be the one groaning at YOUR jokes. Cherish this moment because once they hit 10 or 11 they act like your jokes are a personal attack.

Feel crumb-y about not going to the doctor huh? That's legitimately good! My twin girls are just starting to understand jokes and I can already tell they're going to be comedians. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
