I was trying to explain how the internet works and I said 'imagine the internet like a bunch of tubes' and he goes 'Dad you already look like a bunch of tubes so I think I understand now'. His mom is still laughing. It's been 20 minutes. I'm never recovering from this.

Haha were you trying to say something about tubes of information? Because yeah kids will catch you fumbling your explanations every single time.
The internet tube explanation is actually pretty decent though. Kids understand tubes. Better than trying to explain servers and data packets to a first grader.
