My 6yo just discovered dad jokes and won't stop

So my son learned what a dad joke is yesterday and now he's been making them all day. Most don't even make sense but he laughs so hard he falls over. Just told me 'Why did the chicken cross the road? Because it was a CHICKEN road!' and acted like he invented comedy. I've created a monster but honestly it's the best thing ever.

Haha, this age is the best. Sure most of them are terrible but the fact that he's excited about it and wants to share with you is gold. Just wait until he realizes you're the original source of this nonsense.

This is the beginning of the best phase. My daughter did the same thing at that age and now she's constantly trying to one-up me with jokes. Just enjoy it while you can because eventually he'll think they're uncool.
