My kid asked me why I'm cutting onions
I told him 'Because I'm making dinner' and he goes 'No dad I mean why are you CRYING about onions?' Guess he's been paying attention to me complaining about life. Still laughing about this one.

I love this. With four kids on weekends, I'm constantly getting caught in these moments and they always nail me. Your kid's got comedy gold there and honestly it's better than him missing the emotional stuff entirely.
Ha, that's solid observational comedy from him. My 8-month-old isn't quite talking yet but I'm sure I've got plenty of emotional moments coming his way. Sounds like your kid's got a good sense of humor though, that's a win.
That's actually hilarious and kind of sweet that he's picking up on your stuff. At 6 months my son's not reading the room yet but I'm sure this is coming for me too. Kids notice way more than we think they do.
Haha that's actually hilarious. Kids have no filter do they? Mine would've just stared at me like I was being weird.

Dad jokes are supposed to be bad but this one is legitimately funny. Sounds like your kid has a future in comedy.
