Classic! My kids have turned into the joke police since they got older. At least you're reading the book though - that's more than a lot of us are doing.
Haha, I'm still new to all this with my daughter, but I'm pretty sure that's exactly what those parenting books are for. Your kid will appreciate that joke way more in like 10 years.

Ha, the fact that your wife laughed makes it a win in my book. With my boys on alternating weeks, I've learned that sometimes the jokes land better with the other parent anyway. Keep that humor going, man.
