I told him I was looking for the chapter on how to be a good dad. He said "Dad, you've been making this up as you go for 8 years." I said "Exactly, and look how well you turned out!" He groaned so hard I think he pulled something.

That's a classic. My daughter asked me why I was reading the baby instructions the other day and I had to admit I have no idea what I'm doing half the time. At least you're trying.
