I told him I'm not reading instructions, I'm reading my autobiography. He didn't get it. I'll explain it to him in like 15 years when he tries to assemble something without the manual and realizes he's become me.

My kids groan at my jokes but honestly that's the goal. The groan means I nailed it.

That's gold. Mine would've just stared at me blankly too. They'll get it in like 10 years and suddenly laugh at it.

Haha nice one. I've been collecting these to use on my kids once they're old enough to understand dad humor. This one's going in the vault.
