I told him because they're still funny to me. He said 'Dad that doesn't make sense.' I said 'Exactly, just like my jokes!' Wife is giving me that look right now.

My oldest said the same thing last year and now she's stealing my jokes to use at school. Give it time.

He'll understand when he's older. Right now he doesn't get that dads are allowed to have their own sense of humor, funny or not.
