So I'm making breakfast and my 7 year old says 'Dad why do you always burn the toast?' and I go 'I like it crispy' and he says 'You like everything crispy. Your jokes, your cooking, your dance moves.' I have never been more offended and also proud at the same time.
Haha dude, just wait until they start remembering everything you say. My newborn can't talk yet but I'm already preparing for the roasts incoming.
That's nothing, my 9-year-old told me my cooking tastes like I learned it from a YouTube ad. Kids are savage these days.

Haha that's perfect. My 7yo did the exact same thing to me about my cooking last week. Kids have no filter, they just say what everyone's thinking.
At least your kid cares enough to roast you. Mine just eats whatever I put in front of them without comment, which somehow feels worse.
