My kid just told me why he can't eat dessert
My 6 year old refused ice cream yesterday and I asked him why. He said 'Dad, ice cream is too cold for my teeth when they're hot.' I didn't even know his teeth were hot. Kids man.

This is the kind of content that makes parenting worth it. The random stuff they come up with hits different.
That's actually pretty clever for a 6 year old. The logic is there even if the execution is funny. Kids say the darndest things. Did you end up getting him something different?
That's hilarious and also weirdly logical coming from a 6 year old. Kids say the funniest stuff when you're not expecting it.
I've heard everything from my kids but this one made me laugh out loud. Kid's got a point though - ice cream IS cold. Can't argue with the reasoning even if it's ridiculous.
This is gold. These are the moments you don't see coming. My son tried to convince me that candy doesn't count if it's from the trick-or-treat bag. Kids operate on a different logic system entirely.

Did you find a workaround or did he just skip dessert that day? Because honestly that's pretty solid dad joke material right there.
