My kid's school fundraiser has me feeling old

They're selling discount cards to local restaurants. My daughter asked if I wanted to buy one. I said 'Maybe, what restaurants are on it?' She goes 'There's a Olive Garden.' I got excited thinking about free breadsticks. Then I realized I am officially old because nothing sounds better to me right now than all you can eat breadsticks and a coupon. When did I become this guy? My younger self would be so disappointed.

Haha the discount card fundraiser. I remember when my parents did the same thing. Now I'm the one getting asked to buy them. It really does make you feel old.

Haha I feel this in my bones. My 12-year-old asked me the same thing last month and I had no idea half the restaurants were even there. Getting old is real.
