My kids actually laughed at one of my jokes today
I asked my 7yo if he knew why the cookie went to the doctor. He said no and I said because it felt crumbly. He LAUGHED. Not groaned, not rolled his eyes, actually laughed. I'm basically a comedy genius now.
Haha the crumbly joke. Classic. When my 6yo finally got one of my bad jokes I felt like I'd won the dad lottery. Those moments are weirdly validating.
This right here is what it's all about. The victory lap after years of terrible puns that get nothing but eye rolls. What's your next joke lined up?
