Wait until he's a teenager and he actually laughs at your jokes ironically and then you realize he genuinely thinks they're funny. Peak dad moment right there.
Your wife laughing is basically a standing ovation in dad comedy. That's the real win here. Your son will think it's hilarious in like five years when he's older.

Haha I feel this. My kids just groan now when I start setting up a joke. The eye rolls are getting pretty brutal but I keep going anyway because that's what dads do.
