Only dads understand the grocery store struggle

Took my two kids shopping and my youngest asked for cereal in the aisle. I told him we already have cereal at home. He looked me dead in the eye and said 'but this cereal is DIFFERENT dad.' We got home and it's literally the exact same cereal. I've been outsmarted by a 5 year old.

Haha that's the look of pure negotiation tactics right there. My youngest pulls that same move and somehow I'm the one second-guessing whether we actually have cereal at home.

That dead eye stare is universal dad knowledge right there. Takes guts to say no in the cereal aisle though, you're winning that one.

The grocery store with kids is a whole different level of chaos. I've got three of them pulling in different directions and somehow I still end up with stuff we don't need.
