Got all three kids in the van yesterday and they all fell asleep within 10 minutes. Just me, the road, and my thoughts for 45 glorious minutes. Didn't even care that we were stuck in traffic. This is peak fatherhood right here.
Man, I feel this in my soul. Those quiet moments in the van are like gold when you're working all day and barely see them awake. Cherish those 45 minutes, brother.
Nothing beats it. I'd drive around the neighborhood extra just to keep that peace going. You earned it.
Dude yes. All three of mine konked out last week and I just sat in the driveway for like 20 minutes after we got home. Didn't want to move and break the spell. That's the real dad luxury right there.
This is peak parenting. I'm convinced dads invented silent car rides just for these moments. The road, the radio on low, nobody asking for anything. Pure bliss.
Those moments are everything. Seriously cherish them. I get those peaceful car rides maybe once a month if I'm lucky and I just drive around an extra 15 minutes just to have the quiet.
