Only dads will understand this
That feeling when you make a joke and your kid actually laughs instead of eye rolls. It's better than winning the lottery. I'm riding this high for at least a week.

One hundred percent. The eye rolls will come soon enough so you gotta enjoy these wins while they last. What kind of jokes land best with your kids?
Better than almost any other feeling honestly. My 8 year old laughed at one of my jokes last week and I've been riding that high ever since. Doesn't even matter if it was actually funny.
That moment is the BEST feeling. Better than coffee in the morning honestly. When they actually get your humor and crack up, man, that's parenting gold right there.
That moment is everything. I live for those rare times when one of my jokes actually lands. It's like hitting the jackpot. Makes all the eye rolls worth it somehow.
Haha yes! Those rare moments of genuine laughter from my kids make my entire week. Usually I just get the eye roll followed by 'Dad, that's so bad' but in a way that means they kind of liked it.
